As We know that Meak Bochea Day have a great significance in Cambodia.According to the people of Cambodia the Meak Bochea Day id an important Religious festival, Also this day makes a lot of value in public Holidays.

When is the Meak Bochea Day in 2019 and 2020

  • In 2019 the Meak Bochea Day is on 19 February on Tuesday.
  • In 2020 the Meak Bochea Day is on 08 February on Saturday.
As we all know that the Day of Meak Bochea is come in the end of February or in the Beginning of March.This is due to the Full Moon in the third month of the khmer Calendar.

 This Day Recalls The Heart of Buddhism

This important Day recall the last sermon which are given by Buddha.According to Buddhism he encapsulate the "The Heart of Buddhism" in the major three principles: Halting from all evil , Doing only those things which are good and Purification of Minds.

Death Day of Buddha

If we talk about the death Day of Buddha so He Truly Says about the day of his own death.The amazing thing is that after three month Buddha come to the end of his life as same as Buddha expected.People also say that the Day of his birth as same as the Day of his death.This day is also celebrated in Cambodia on the name if Visak Bochea Day.

According to religion of Buddhism,The respectful and Holy day is  a "Full Moon Day".They also believe that the full moon day are the perfect time to regret of sins, and "Make merits": According to Buddhism Buddha say that Purify Your Minds and avoid all sins o this perfect Full Moon Day.
